The attached pictures shows the difference seen with the use of a microscope and without a microscope. A crack line can be seen through the tooth above.

It is difficult to treat what cannot be seen. The practice of endodontics (root canal treatment) requires a high degree of precision while navigating a narrow space within a tooth.

The use of a microscope has enabled us to perform more complex tasks, such as locating hidden canals, removing separated instruments and to better detect cracks that are not visible to the naked eye.
